May Craft Challenge: April Showers Bring May Flowers
The Monthly Craft Challenge is to help inspire you to keep crafting all month long.
May:
The first day of the month is May day
In Ireland the First Monday of May is the first day of summer
Mexico celebrates Cinco de Mayo
The second Sunday is Mother’s Day
In Argentina Revolución de Mayo is the 25th of May
In the US we have Memorial day on the last Monday of the month
Towel Day is celebrated in May
Most notably is the phrase: “April showers brings May flowers”
- This month’s challenge is to involve flowers somehow in a craft, be it a print on fabric, floral arrangements, gardening or embroider a flower on to your favorite spring jacket
- Spend time crafting (or getting inspiration) outside
- Create something for a mother: be it yours, a friends, a friend or even you
- Spend at least 3 hours crafting each week
- Tidy up your craft space and show it to us!
